About the Campaign

2022 marks the second year of the Asian Gold Ribbon (AGR) Campaign, an anti-Asian hate and racism movement primarily taking place throughout the month of May (Asian Heritage Month) and celebrating AGR Day on May 20th.

The Asian Gold Ribbon campaign is fortunate to have Renee Wong as our Graphic Designer. She is extremely talented and creative in developing our yellow canary logo and the gold ribbon design. She also edits and produces video content for the Asian Gold Ribbon Educational Modules. What we appreciate the most about Renee is how personable and flexible she is, how she is genuinely excited about the work – even when working with tight deadlines and high demands. She is accountable and produces exceptional deliverables, well beyond expectation. Social Media Marketing

AGR has grown exponentially since its launch in 2021, with nearly double the collaborations and events. The 2022 campaign demands a higher volume of advertisement with an increased number of guest speakers to highlight.

Results

AGR is known for its vibrant visual graphics and its iconic logo. The brand’s visual aspect is essential in generating interest and followers on social media. Through this we have achieved an 83.3% increase click-through-rate to the AGR website compared to the previous year, and reached 52,391,691+ accounts through shares and mentions on social media with 71% of content containing visuals.

Our consistent branding and strong imagery contributes to the campaigns success and continues to play a huge role in gaining support against anti-Asian hate and racism.
